Daisies in my garden always bring a smile to my face. April’s birth flower is the daisy which conveys innocence, loyal love, and purity. It is also a flower given between friends to keep a secret. The daisy means I’ll never tell.

There is a pot by my back door that contains these little faces. Every time I step out there, my need to grab my watercolours is almost urgent.

This surprisingly wonderful little plant is tucked under the bushes in my Rose Garden and blooms amongst the golden and rust colored autumn fallen leaves. Symbolically, the crocus signifies cheerfulness as well as gladness.
